Tuition and Financial Aid

TUITION

Michigan State University sets the tuition for all colleges at the university, including the College of Human Medicine. Each year, there is an adjustment to the annual tuition, so it is important for planning purposes to keep up to date regarding financial changes.

The Controller’s Office website offers the most up-to-date, and situation-specific information about tuition, billing, and student accounts.

Please see University budget estimates on the Office of Financial Aid's website in financial planning.

FINANCIAL AID

The MSU Office of Financial Aid provides extensive information regarding financial aid and loans for Human Medicine students.

Financial aid is handled through the MSU Office of Financial Aid (OFA). We would strongly encourage you to submit your financial aid application (FAFSA) as soon as possible after October 1st. Once the OFA receives your FAFSA, you can talk with University Financial Aid staff about a prospective financial aid offer. The OFA will communicate any financial aid awards. Award notifications are sent by email to your MSU email account.

Questions regarding your financial aid packet should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid:

Email: ofamed@msu.edu

Phone: 517-353-2401

Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA each year.
